Bambarakanda Water Fall In Sri Lanka
Bambarakanda waterfall is highest waterfall of Sri Lanka and
which is situated at Haldumulla Electorate of Badulla district. This waterfall
is high about 241m. Water comes to this fall from Horton plains and after this
water goes to Samanala wawa means the valley looks like a butterfly. After via
Valawe river this water goes to sea.
Travel to this place is not so easy than other waterfalls of
Sri Lanka because this fall is far away.Four wheel vehicle is suitable for that jounney.
There
are some waterfalls closed to Bambarakanda falls. Those are Bambarakanda Ella,
Lanka Ella , Uduwara Ella and Nagadowa
Ella. Several mini waterfalls also available. It's also beautiful but not
higher than Bambarakanda and not famous.
